Porsche 914 - Our First Car1970 Porsche 914. Rescued from abandonment after a major wreck, Fault Line Racing Team, made up of youths from the Coachella Valley, restored this wonder car. After four months of hard work the car was entered in it's first race. Serendipitously, the designated racing number it received from the Porsche Club of America was exactly the same as the model of the car, 914.

On September 9, 1995 at Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego the car was completed just minutes before the race. With a borrowed helmet, a battery borrowed from a nearby truck, a steering wheel donated by a fellow racer and thank to the help of P.C.A. members, the car passed inspection just before the race. In astonishment and with pride, the team watched as the car came across the finish line. Driven by a powerful force, this Porsche 914 and Fault Line Racing Team won 1st place, ending the race with a blown engine. "Was it a miracle, or was the car showing thanks for bring it back to life?"

Our Founders How We Began
Faultline Racing was founded in 1992 by Art Lambrose while working on staff at the Southwest Community Church in Palm Desert, CA. Art found that there was a need to reach children in a non-threatening environment. Using a car as the attraction, he brought kids of all faiths together, even those who normally didn't attend church. All he asked of them was a three month commitment to attend car repair workshops, Faultline events and to participate in RBC Daily Devotionals. Currently Art and his family attend Desert Springs Church where they are working with the Youth Department.
