Rick Fredrick of Bermuda Dunes says

"I started with a 65,000 mile car, original, straight, and unabused, purchased new by my father in March of 1965. I bought the car in 1988 and drove it to the valley from Ohio. I began restoring the chrome in 1990 and buying various parts throughout the years. Only stock or NOS were used.

In October of 1997 I began disassembling the car, right down to the frame (not a frame-off, but the bushings were changed). The suspension was totally rebuilt, along with he engine and transmission. The rotating assembly was correctly balanced, a Crane restification cam dialed in, and the heads are set up for unleaded premium. Power disc brakes were installed, and a new original chambered dual exhaust by Gardner Exhaust was bolted in."
